La Trienal de Arquitectura de Oslo es el mayor festival de arquitectura de la región nórdica y uno de los escenarios más importantes del mundo para la difusión y el debate sobre los retos arquitectónicos y urbanos.

Oslo Architecture Triennale is the Nordic region’s biggest architecture festival, and one of the world’s prominent arenas for dissemination and discussion of architectural and urban challenges.

n’UNDO tiene el honor de participar en la Trienal de Arquitectura 2019 en Oslo y presentar su libro Desde la resta I From subtraction en la exposición The Library del National Museum – Architecture.

n’UNDO is honored to participate in the 2019 Oslo Architecture Triennale and present its book Desde la resta I From subtraction at the exhibition The Library of the National Museum – Architecture.

Desde la Resta El texto, pretende ser lugar de encuentro de quienes sienten afinidad por este planteamiento y fundamento para seguir desarrollando las líneas de pensamiento que enuncia y las herramientas de intervención.  

El libro reivindica el buen hacer, desde el no construir, desde mínimos, desde la reutilización o el desmantelamiento si es necesario. Demuestra que hacer arquitectura – verdadera arquitectura – a veces, es solo cuestión de pequeñas intervenciones, de orientar una silla para contemplar el paisaje, o simplemente para ver la hierba crecer. Siempre desde la percepción de la polis, de la ciudad, en referencia a los asuntos de todos, a la vida de cada uno, de la ciudadanía. Porque no es suficiente sobrevivir sino, como decía Aristoteles, vivir bien.

Desde la Resta, es posible hacer más y mejor, por la buena vida.

From Subtraction The text aims to be a meeting place for those who feel affinity for this approach and foundation to continue developing the lines of thought it enunciates and the tools of intervention.

The book vindicates the good doing, from not building, from minimums, from reuse or dismantling if necessary. It shows that making architecture – true architecture – is sometimes only a matter of small interventions, of orienting a chair to contemplate the landscape, or simply to see the grass grow. Always from the perception of the polis, of the city, in reference to the affairs of all, to the life of each one, of citizenship. Because it is not enough to survive but, as Aristotle said, to live well.

From Subtraction, it is possible to do more and better, for the good life.
