The consultancy aims to produce a document that will serve as a guide for improving accessibility in the interventions carried out by IOM in Iraq in the field of construction and building adaptation.

After the review and analysis carried out, the toolkit has been structured in a document with two different parts. The firstone includes accessibility and inclusion principles and key concepts, so that anyone accessing the tool what accessibility means. The second part is divided into (1) project cycle checklists, oriented to construction projects, and (2) checklists of different thematic blocks specific to accessibility in design and construction. These checklists have been developed in a synthetic way and with the contribution of simplified graphics and allow anyone to quickly review basic accessibility requirements to ideally comply with.
